Here’s another personal story to bore you with.

I don’t play guitar.  I don’t own a guitar.  I do own several instruments.  Here’s my story of me buying first keiongaku instrument.

Summer of 1992, in Saitama prefecture…  I was determined that I wanted a bass guitar.  I really don’t remember what triggered me into that mind set.  It was not the same as Mio’s reason (see the episode for the details).  I think I was always fascinated with the low-down bottom sound.  The buying experience itself was pretty similar to Yui’s.  I had a set budget, I really had no clue on selection criteria, I was overwhelmed with selection…  But I did go home with an ax in my hand.  Ibanez SR900LE.  It was a scratch and dent item, so the price was marked down, but we did bargain a bit more.  17 years later, I still have it, and I still play it.

I do hope that Yui will love her new ax, and keep playing it for years to come.
