Volumes 5 and 6 are stalled at typesetting. Volume 7 and the new OVA do not have the space to be worked on with two volumes taking up the available K-On! space on the encoder’s hard drive. Season 2 is out soon. We hope to have season 1 finished by then, but until we can find typesetters that quit disappearing on us after an episode or two WITH NO NOTICE, K-On! will take forever to finish. Including the brand new OVA.

So, if you’re an AFX typesetter and you like K-On!, come poke us in #frostii-recruits on rizon.

This really is going to be the last Black Jack release brought to you by Frostii.  This one wasn’t on our radar for a long time.  This is what I call a real fansub.  The original DVD was provided to us by one of you–a real fan.  So, kudos to you!

And this sure is a different stuff.  It’s different from Tezuka Makoto’s series.  It’s different from Dezaki Hajime’s OVA or movie.  It’s a rare gem.  It’s too rare that there are not enough people know about this OVA.

Really, I can’t thank Carnivol enough for the contribution.  And the rest of you too.  Black Jack fans, you’re the best!

I don’t know about you, but I’m not getting the same kind of rush of blood from this show as I did from Higurashi.  Am I missing something?

By the way, the movie they show a bit in this episode is a parody of Antarctica, an 80’s movie.
