Volumes 5 and 6 are stalled at typesetting. Volume 7 and the new OVA do not have the space to be worked on with two volumes taking up the available K-On! space on the encoder’s hard drive. Season 2 is out soon. We hope to have season 1 finished by then, but until we can find typesetters that quit disappearing on us after an episode or two WITH NO NOTICE, K-On! will take forever to finish. Including the brand new OVA.

Greetings and salutations, my dear dears. As you can see from the title of the post, we need a typesetter for the K-On Bluray Discs. Volume 4, Episode 08 is stalled at TS; Volume 5, Uraon 05 is stalled at TS. That’s two BD volumes taking up space on the encoder’s HD, and until we clear these out, it will be difficult for him to begin encoding the subsequent volumes, including the new OVA. That’s the situation.

Edit: Another of our TS is helping out. More updates when required.

For those of you wondering, no, it’s not dropped. Volume 4 has some signs that need to be finished. Volume 5 is being encoded. Patience, my children.
