With this episode, another series comes to an end.  Although I gave a negative review against this series in my last post, the show is still fun to watch, and fun to work.   We’ve all heard by now that the sequel is announced unofficially.  When that happens, I’ll be here again, sharing the fun with everyone.  Until then… bye-bye, Ippo fans.  (No, I’m not going anywhere in the mean time though)

Ippo used to be funny.  I remember moments when I was on the floor, laughing for 5 minutes straight on some scenes.  But it’s a distant memory from the season 1.  Jeez, the quality of humor has gone down.

Hawk is crazy.  But it’s Miguel Zale who amplified the ferocity by unleashing the monster to the ring.  And Zale has absolutely no regrets of doing so.  He’s enjoying every minute of it.  Even Takamura looks like an angel compared to him.  For now.

Hawk’s got the crazy eye now.  And Takamura lost his usual hair style from all the beatings.  That’s about it for this episode.  The rest is another full episode of punching action, which is why we’re all watching this show.

P.S. As many of you have already heard, one of the voice actors have confirmed the sequel of the show beyond episode 26.

This fight is only getting better from now to the end. This episode is all about power and speed, which is just cool to watch.

FYI, from the episode titles posted on Nitteleplus site, this battle will end at episode 24, leaving 2 episodes to wrap up the season.  Will there be more seasons after this?  I don’t have that information yet.

Please do not be fooled by the image below.  The aviatory creature shown upper left is a bald eagle.  This episode is still on Bryan Hawk vs Takamura (Japanese hawk), not David Golden Eagle vs Takamura.  (Then of course bald eagle and golden eagle are different too…)

Whatever the case, the time is near.  This must be one of the most eagerly awaited match up of this season – WBC World Junior Middleweight Championship.  Bring on the babes! Bring on the Belt! Bring on the bloodfest!
