K-On!! 06

This is my second installment of “you should give your guitar a name” speech.
We’ve seen that Yui gave her Les Paul a dear name “Giita.” This time, we see that she calls Mio’s Jazz Bass “Elizabeth.” (It’s a beesu, so Erizabesu is a perfect name. Get it?)
So, what about you? Azunyan was inspired by Yui’s guitar naming, and gave her Fender Mustang a name too. See it for yourself in this episode.
By the way, it really seems like there’s a shift away from music this season. This is actually the first time that we’ll get to hear a song in the episode. In the last season, it happened already in ep 1, although it was an instrumental one.

Don’t know if you remember me from like 3-5 years back already… it’s been already that long that I have kind of quitted timing.
Too bad.. I enjoyed it, but work/girlfriends and such succumbed all of my spare time..
I might consider getting back someday but I’ve been out for quite some time.

I think they mentioned earlier this season (can’t remember which episode) that Ritsu liked Keith Moon from The Who… Wouldn’t it be cool if they did a song in this show that was more of a classic rock or blues style rather than the typical J-Pop theme?

is it me only or did you guys notice that whenever the scenes move, there is lines of frames not smoothly played and flashing (centre of the screen)? I don’t know how to describe it in the technical terms =\ only episode 6.
For K-on, they are always not the type to focus about playing full songs, but about life revolves around music. I love the Laugh out loud and cute scenes

Was K-On actually about music to begin with ? Looks more like Lucky Star with girls owning instruments to me.
