This is one of the shows I’m so looking forward to see coming winter ^_^; I have a weakness toward this type of show… unique! As some may already know, this show runs for a full year. One hour each month with 2 weeks exception between first and second episode.
This promotional video contains scenes from the first 3 parts. So, enjoy this teasing and stay tuned for the real thing in few weeks ^_^

Anyway… SoulDrake decided not to translate from those leaked scripts, so he waited for the actual thing to air and process it then! It is a 50 min long so it will take time to finish. But let’s hope at least it will be done before second ep is out
I’m really skeptical on this, is this some sort of OVA aired on TV? Or something like that?
It’s just a monthly TV special—Figure 17 used the same format. I must say that Katanagatari seems like it’s more naturally suited for this kind of a schedule, since each episode will cover one light novel; Figure 17 fell into an irritating pattern involving the first half of each episode being fantastic, and the second half being absolute crap.
I believe that this comment represents the first time I have seen “skeptical on” used as a synonym for “confused about.”
Just asking, but do you guys plan on doing the BD/DVDs for this show too?
I doubt it.
The only reason K-On! was redone with BD was because of 1) TBS originally aired it in 4:3 format, and 2) HD version on TV was in a horrible condition.

We are in typesetting phase.. usually the longest phase. But most of the signs are done… there is just that swords signs that I really want to do it right but if no TSer is welling to take time and effort to match original, we will do it like in the PV >_>

Blame it on me. After everyone said it was good to go, and handed stuff to me to release, I spotted a misspell. And yet another hell broke loose. Looks like the next release will be on April 1st.

Um, am I the only one who thinks the producers of this promo have no taste at all? The music is overly dramatic and the scenes are strangely puzzled together with it, giving you a very strange and unpleasant feeling.
I will download the anime because it seems like an interesting action one and I’m running out of good shows to watch anyway, and though the animation seems kind of “unique” and childish, the voice actors seem to do a good job so it’s definitely worth trying out.
I just hope they show a better taste in the real thing than in this promo…
There’s already another promo video out there (chapters 4-6), but i haven’t seen it translated yet. That makes me wonder how do you guys normally get the PVs for the shows?? and in such good quality.
