Welcome to Eden.
Where do you find naked guys, cell phones, Washington DC, a prince, mass destruction, and mass media all in one neat package? Apparently not just in bad rap music videos anymore… now they’re all elements of a potential good anime plot line. Who knew? As promised, Frostii is proud to present “Higashi no Eden ~ Eden of the East.” Hope you’ll enjoy this first episode as much as our staff did.

Thanks, I’ve been waiting for your release of this! One question though: here it says the hardsub is MP4, but the torrent says it’s MKV. Which is it?

I have only two questions:
1) Why there is no OP karaoke. I know, that the song is in english, but I think it would be better with karaoke.
2) About the ED karaoke. I don’t know, what’s wrong with my DirectVobSub, but it shows only a gray/white line of text, nothing else – half of the line is grey and the other one is white. In simple words, karaoke doesn’t show as karaoke. Does anyone know, how to correct this?

Your 720p release of Eden of the East has visual artifacts at 9:33 as Akira Takizawa runs off.
tofu we know about this. The same source was used in Lunar and sudo releases so they have the same issue. It was in the raw we got, some kind of capping glitch!
For those asking about RideBack… it was going to be released sometimes today but BlueLotus noticed one sign was missing and our dear typesetter is traveling as we speak. Once he arrives home, he will do it and we can get to see the last ep of RideBack. Believe me, if anyone wants it badly, it would be me ^_^ so we are not delaying it for no good reason

Wow, this anime is super sweet. I can’t believe they actually use a British band for the OP and actual English-speaking people to voice the American characters, very nice. Also I <3 the art style and the animation. And the characters are awesome as well. I just hope the plot will be interesting.
Really really great work! I love this 1st episode and am continually amazed at how great a job you all do. I’m excited that your subbing it and that we all benefit. If there indeed does come a day when fansubbing won’t be a reality it’s times like these that I’ll miss most. Thanks!!!
